Alyssa Noce proved she could play hurt. Despite a shoulder injury that prevented her from playing in the field last year, she was a positive force with the bat for the St. Joseph High softball team. Used as the designated hitter, the Monroe, CT, native managed to put together a strong senior season for the state's No. 1 team in regular season play. Alyssa finished with a .357 batting average with 25 hits, 25 RBI and two home runs during a 23-0 start that produced another FCIAC championship for Coach Jeff Babineau's Cadets. Alyssa has a great work ethic and was always willing to play whatever position she was called upon to play, said Babineau. She was an outfielder for most of her career, which produced consecutive league titles and a CIAC championship in 2018 and a .324 career batting average in three years. Alyssa is now an outfielder for Quinnipiac University.
